Last week I bought Chet Faker's EP, 'Thinking In Textures' and I've been enjoying it so much that I wanted to share it with you. The slow, smooth jams ooze cool with their layered vocals and groovy synth beats, and I really can't get enough.
'Chet Faker' is indeed an alias; that of Melbourne musician Nick Murphy. Murphy's Chet Faker rose to prominence with his cover of Blackstreet's 'No Diggity'.
'I'm Into You' had heaps of airplay on triple j throughout 2012, and was voted #24 in the Hottest 100 of last year. I'm definitely 'into' this song, it's so cool.
