but the fighter still remains.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with dress-up parties. It can be a bit of a hassle organising something to wear that isn't too predicable, but isn't something that no one will get because it's so out there. But on the other hand, when you master your costume, you feel pretty proud, and it's brilliant turning up and seeing everyone else looking as crazy as you do.

The theme was Good vs Evil (the classic!), and we had some pretty creative costumes. There a Cowardly Lion, Wonder Woman and her sidekick, Ursula and Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Lord Voldemort, Little Red Riding Hood, and moi, Puss-In-Boots.

My costume was ridiculously simple. A black bodysuit, a pair of black leggings, a thick belt, a cardboard sword, a feathered hat, a pair of boots, cat ears and tail, a cape and a nose and whiskers, et voilĂ !

Have you been to any really fantastic themed dress-up parties? What's your best costume to date?

xx

PS: Yes, I felt the need to include a photo of my 'special' wraps!
